The average test result value for 2013-2017 has been 4.3 pCi/L in Schuyler County which is above the recommended level for radon exposures according to the EPA.  Schuyler County has seen test results as high as 18 pCi/L in 2013-2017. With 50.55 percent of radon test, testing below 2 pCi/L in 2013-2017. 

From 2019- Mid 2020 you can obtain a free radon test kit from Schuyler County Public Health to test your home. You can also receive a radon test from NY State Department of Health.
